DR. SHALINI KAUL

Dr. Shalini Kaul has more than a decade of experience in treating children’s eye disorders. She has trained from world-class institutes such as Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai and has undergone rigorous training in Orbis USA program for honing the necessary skills to deliver accurate and best results in paediatric eye disorders.
Dr. Kaul’s warm smile and gentle nature puts both parents and children at ease. The instant level of comfort makes children interact freely and allow the eye examination. This critical aspect of paediatric eye care bears testimony to Dr Kaul’s experience of consulting & treating thousands of children with a variety of eye problems. Over 15 years, Dr. Kaul has operated nearly 4,000 cases of squint, cataract and other eye disorders in children and adults.
DR. MAHESH UPARKAR

Dr. Mahesh Uparkar has been an academician par excellence during his training years as an undergraduate as well as post graduate from KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He was the Mumbai University Gold Medalist in the subject of eye and its disorders in the year 2000. After his post graduation in 2004, he appeared for the Royal College of Ophthalmology exams (London) and went to the UK to train further. In the UK, Dr. Uparkar has worked in Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Yorkshire, and the Wales Trust hospital of Pontyprrid and Rhonda as a Senior House officer in Ophthalmic department. His Fellowship training is from Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai in the field of Vitreo-Retinal Surgery and Uveal disorders where he continued his academic rigor while receiving the Best Fellow award in 2008.
He has nearly 14 years of experience in treating various Retinal diseases, Retinal lasers, Diabetic Retinopathy Management, complications of cataract surgery. Dr. Uparkar is a specialist in Neonatal Eye Disease management and has been a pioneer in the standardization of premature infant retinal disease management in Navi Mumbai.
